Believe me, I understand the pain that TNG and WP share. I got tired of trying to ask for help regarding making TNG play nice with WP so used an iFrame. Members will still have to use two usernames/passwords to access everything on the site but I make sure to tell my membes to use the same username/password to make it easier for them to remember. Also, someone else made mention that most modern browsers will save the username/password so it almost makes it a mute point. I made a post shortly after responding to this in my forum: <a href="http://doddemagen.com/forum/howd-he-do-that/partial-integration-with-tng/page-1/post-61#p61" rel="nofollow">Partial integration with TNG</a>

I am also trying to make TNG and Wordpress play nice. Despite not being a "HTML/CSS guru", it appears that you have accomplished something that eludes me--i.e., running TNG "within" WordPress. Would it be too much trouble to provide a brief description regarding how you accomplished this (assuming things are as they appear to me)? Have you married the functions files and/or other global/general php files?

My current set-up has TNG and Wordpress in separate directories, although they share a database and will soon share a style sheet. The applications are basically running side-by-side, not really interacting. For example, the TNG drop menu doesn't work on the Wordpress pages; I have to hand enter each post in the TNG sidebar because the list that Wordpress automatically generates won't work on TNG pages; when moving back and forth between TNG and Wordpress pages, TNG seems to "forget" that I have logged in.

I'm not asking for a full tutorial. I think if you just pointed me in the right direction, I'd be able to suss out the details.

Thank you,
Bridget

Nice site, BTW--a LOT of info.
