Out of all the characters, I think one of my favorites is Adama. I love Lorne Greene. He was awesome in Bonanza and he did really good playing Adama for his time but it was hard to see him as a military commander of an entire battlestar and the rest of the human fleet. The current Adama, played by Edward James Almos, rocks. He’s that sort of military guy that you either love him or hate him. No-nonsense, hard but loving in a way that only he could pull off.

Being in the military man myself, I can identify more with the current version more than the other. I would have done anything to make Bill Adama say “Good Job” to me. But that’s just my opinion.
