Presidential Primary 2008, pt 1

I don’t know how many of you watched the Primary on Friday but for the first time in my adult life, I did.  It was actually quite interesting to see the views of these two men, one of which will become the leader of the most powerful country in the world.  I’ve said continuously that this will be one of the most pivotal elections in our current time and that was before the recent economic crisis.

My thoughts on the primary?  Personally, I could have smacked Obama in the head a few times for getting McCain’s name wrong.  C’mon, how hard is it?!  It’s John, not Jim or Bob.  If on purpose, pathetic.  If accidental, can you imagine him as a president getting some national leader’s name wrong?!  That would be nice.

There were times I think, especially at the beginning that McCain was holding back his comments.  If he were younger, I’d love to see a knockdown between the two.

The upcoming primary which showcases the two vice-presidential elects will be on in the upcoming week.  Palin vs. Biden.  I’m looking forward to her sense of humor but I’ll imagine she’ll have to tone it down some to appear professional and not a comedian.

What do you think of the Primaries?
