After the exciting conclusion to the last novel, this book was disappointing. While not as boring as the first in the trilogy, it has its moments. One minute I’m bored out of my mind and the next I’m in sensory overload.
If you’re not a big fan of Shannara, if you don’t want to know the history of how it all came to be…don’t read this trilogy.
